THUNDER BAY – It is looking like the families and youth under Dilico Anishinabek Family Care will be left hanging as strike action is starting on Monday. The 350 employees of Dilico Anishinabek Family Care, who are members of Local 7-O of the Communications, Energy and Paperworkers of Canada, will be commencing strike action on Monday July 8, 2013 at 8am.
Picket lines will be set up at district offices in Longlac, Marathon, Nipigon, Armstrong and at 2 Thunder Bay locations: Heath Park School and the Dilico head office located at 200 Anemki Place.
